Siberian Branch of the National Center for Contemporary Art opened in Tomsk, March 25, 2013. Siberian Branch of NCCA – the first federal cultural institution in the city, he became the sixth in the structure of the NCCA and is responsible for the whole of Siberia. Branch Manager appointed Anna Tereshkova from Novosibirsk, a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, a member of the working group on modern culture together with Olga Sviblova, Joseph Backstein and other famous artists. At a press conference on the occasion of the opening of the branch, was announced the reconstruction of the building, which will be located branch – the so – called Gorokhovskiy warehouses architect Kryachkova on the waterfront Tom. Activities NCCA – Tomsk includes the promotion and support of contemporary native art, various forms of exhibition and audio – visual projects, installations, performances, video and film shows, meetings. NCCA also engaged in analytical and educational activities – conducting lectures, seminars, master – classes.
